Role and mission:
  • Establish, build and manage a team of advertising sales staff and their portfolio of advertisers.
  • Achieve and exceed sales revenue budgets for brands relevant to portfolio.
Key responsibilities:

 

Manage key relationship across channels

  • Grow relationships with a select group of clients and agencies defined across the portfolio of channels.
  • Cultivate a deep understanding of client business to ensure high-level, turnkey solutions that unlock revenue.
  • Manage client engagements, including roadshows, immersions, workshops and key meetings with the client set.
  • Build relationships, uncover challenges and needs with clients and relevant agencies specific to a defined portfolio.
  • Identify trends and threats in select sectors to upsell new and existing products.
  • Be part of an integrated solutions team to offer clients specialised media solutions through a variety of opportunities.
  • Be an active and effective networker.
  • Build strategic and collaborative working relationships with internal and external customers.

 

Manage a multi-platform ad sales team

  • Manage a portfolio of advertising clients and agencies to ensure portfolio targets are achieved across multiple platforms.
  • Achieve and exceed sales revenue targets.
  • Develop a sales strategy to achieve set targets by brand relevant to a specific portfolio.
  • Develop detailed action plans to execute the sales strategy.
  • Actively engage all available data points, touchpoints and information platforms to ensure solutions and market conversations remain relevant and impactful.
  • Monitoring of annual commitments and regular tracking of spend trends.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with clients, client media and communication partners to facilitate 360 solutions.
  • Develop new business and maintain existing business.
  • Managing the brands’ engagement opportunities for advertiser benefit.
  • Prepare relevant reports providing feedback on sales activity, sales performance and all matters in process, outstanding and/or in need of resolution.
