Role and mission:

The ideal candidate has a passion for digital content, with strong brand-copywriting experience. You will need to drive digital content proactively, continually looking for opportunities to amplify and optimise content across platforms and push the boundaries with world-class work.

Key responsibilities:
  • Be the custodian of high-quality content on digital platforms, including websites, mailers and social media.  
  • Brainstorm, research and plan content topics that are aligned with audience interests and brand/client objectives and values. 
  • Produce content plans based on client briefs and relevant topics. 
  • Copywrite for all digital platforms, including but not limited to long-form content, social media, newsletters and websites.  
  • Create UTM trackers. 
  • Read and interpret Google Analytics and social media reports to produce reports, insights and recommendations to improve content and apply learnings to day-to-day responsibilities. 
  • Be a client-facing point of contact, supported by the Account Director and Group Editor. 
  • Stay ahead of digital standards and identify trends, frequently bringing new ideas to the table. 
  • Explore opportunities to grow traffic, reach, engagement and ROI on all digital platforms. 
  • May be required to upload content to CMS platforms from time to time. 
What you’ll need:
  • A degree or diploma in journalism, copywriting or a related field  
  • At least 2 years’ experience working as a digital copywriter or editor  
  • Experience producing branded content 
  • Excellent command of the English language  
  • An excellent understanding of how to optimise content on different platforms and ability to recommend and advise on best practice to client 
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication and presentation skills  
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, WordPress, SEO and HTML 
  • Ability to work well in a team and provide direction to designers  
  • Positive attitude, energetic approach and a high level of self-motivation 
  • Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and manage deadlines 
  • Attention to detail and the ability to concentrate and focus in a busy work environment
