John Brown Media South Africa is delighted to announce it has been nominated for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign of the Year in the 2019 World Retail Awards for its multiplatform Pick n Pay Fresh campaign.
This category highlights innovative, results-driven marketing or advertising campaigns that demonstrate effective multi-channel communication and deliver a fully integrated campaign with verifiable results.
The goal for the Fresh relaunch was to grow Pick n Pay’s fresh-produce category, ensuring each platform (from Fresh Living, PnP’s trusted monthly magazine, to tabloids, POS and digital content) played to its strengths, combining to form a 360-degree ecosystem and cohesive narrative across channels.
In six months, PnP’s Fresh division saw total sales growth of 6.9% in a fiercely competitive retail climate.

The World Retail Awards have been recognising top retailers and retail initiatives globally across a range of categories for over 10 years.
