Following a highly successful 2016 Awards Season, John Brown Media South Africa is proud to announce nominations for no fewer than 8 international content marketing awards – six for the 2017 Content Council Pearl Awards in New York and two for the 2017 CMA Awards in London.
The nominations are across multiple channels and include six coveted nominations for 10-year-long client, Pick n Pay, including ‘Best Print Magazine’ and ‘Best Retail’ for Fresh Living for the Pearl Awards, and ‘Best Retail Consumer’ for the CMA Awards.
Produced for Pick n Pay’s digital channels, the Chef Sipho video series has been nominated for ‘Best Social’ for both the 2017 Pearl and CMA Awards.
Mindspace magazine, produced for Old Mutual, was nominated in two Pearl Award categories for ‘Best Print Magazine’ – for both design and editorial content.
John Brown Media as a group has received 25 nominations for the 2017 CMA Awards, with publications and team members from our offices on four different continents being shortlisted in 12 separate categories – highlighting John Brown’s influence on a global scale.
Says Lani Carstens, John Brown South Africa Managing Director: “Whilst awards in and of themselves are not the most important gauge of successful content marketing, it is an honour to have received so many international nominations for the work we do for our clients. Given that the criteria for both awards is proven ROI, these nominations illustrate the excellence of our teams in producing content that truly engages customers, resulting in commercial success for our clients. It is a pleasure to see our hard work recognised globally.”
